The Business Education Career Preparation Program is a program of three closely related Business courses at the Grades 11 and 12 levels, plus 90 hours of work experience.
The work experience enhances the classroom learning experience and allows students to practice school-based learning in a business environment.

The Business Education Department offers two Career Preparation Programs: Accounting and Marketing. Work experience can be completed during one-week blocks during the school year and during the summer.

Britannia's Accounting Career Preparation Program will see you applying your accounting skills in banks, credit unions, government, and accounting firms.
A list of sponsors include Royal Bank, CIBC, Scotia Bank, BMO, HSBC, Colliers International, Ernst & Young, and Mariposa Head Office.
To participate in the Accounting Career Prep Program, you must enrol in Accounting 11, Marketing 11, & Accounting 12.

Britannia's popular Marketing Career Preparation Program will see you working in trendy specialty shops such as Aritzia and Off The Wall, fast-paced sports stores like Foot Locker and Sportchek, or many other diverse retail stores at Metrotown, Robson, and Pacific Centre.
Additional sponsors include Gap, Forever 21, Nike, Urban Behaviour, Roots, Old Navy, Champs, Toys R Us, Future Shop, Mantique, etc.
Furthermore, many Career Preparation Marketing students are hired by their sponsors for part- or full-time work.
