Business Ed Department


The Cave provides Britannia students with many opportunities to gain valuable job skills necessary for today's competitive market. Students may work in the school store as either a cashier or a manager.


To work as a cashier at The Cave, you should enrol in Marketing 11. where you will gain skills required for entry-level employment in retailing. You will learn about customer service, personal help wantedselling, cashiering, cash handling, stockkeeping, and merchandising.


As a manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the school store. This course will enable you to gain practical experience in managing employees, controlling inventory, and overseeing store procedures. In order to work as a manager in The Cave, students should be enrolled in Marketing 12 or Business Adminstrative Assistant 12.
